Windows Server 2003 issue
Monday, April 21, 2008
Might be some readers here who can assist this guy.
We have a windows 2003 server running iis 6.0
The problem:
When our URL is called up in IE or Firefox there is a redirection script that is calling other urls. Checking the HTML, there is nothing on the html pages that look malicious. Yet when the page loads you can see other urls that are not ours being loaded on the IE or firefox toolbar. We do not know where they are coming from, but we need someone who would know what they are and how to go about removing them and preventing them from reappearing.
What we are looking for:
Someone who has a lot of experience with Windows severs and security. If you know what you are doing, this should be a quick 5 minute fix. We are just clueless when it comes to Windows Servers.
We are not looking to hire a company, we want 1 person who speaks English and knows how to fix servers. If you know what you are doing this could be a long term relationship as we have a lot more jobs if you are interested to keep you busy for a long time.
This is temp email address so email him now:
